Tracking is tuned for side views, head turns and quick movements to reduce effect dropouts and drift. Extreme angles, heavy motion blur or leaving the frame can still interrupt tracking.
Face-surface effects such as aging and animal faces handle partial occlusion for more natural layering when a hand or object crosses your face. Heavy occlusion can affect tracking; 3D headgear behaves differently.
3D face tracking and real-time rendering avoid the per-frame generative inference used by large-model video generation workflows. This refers to compute costs; memberships and web credits are still billed as listed.

Pet photos, mascots, logos, virtual characters and art-style references are welcome if you have the right to use them. No real-person photos. Custom face effects only, like our AI Cat / AI Dog effects: no custom 3D models, scripts or model plugins, and no automatic photo generator.
Only the bound account with active Pro+ and online verification can import and use the effect. Ordinary Pro cannot. Expiry, downgrade or sign-out keeps files but stops use; renew and verify to select them again.
